If you genuinely believe your entry is the best, and can justify that decision to yourself each time you look in the mirror, then I see no reason why you sholdn't vote for your own entry. But it has to be something you can impartially judge, and that's a high threshold, or at least it is for me.

I didn't vote for myself either.

That was my reasoning, i genuinly thought the one i voted for was the clear winner by a long way.

Mrs Y Don't think anyone's catching up anytime soon, You could probably post up the next one now lol. I think You and Mr should be held out of one of these one time soon as most of the stuff u post is infinitaley better than anyone elses (of course thats just my opinion and I opt out of any legal action against me lol) All good stuff

What are we waiting for?
I see a huge vote next to Debbi's name. Debbi, you better start thinking about next topic.

Thanks for the compliment(s) Lee. We don't enter every competition, it's just when we do, there's usually a bit of hard thinking goes on to see what each of us can come up with, a bit of internal rivalry creates results. There was several hours of work, complete with tears, tantrums and sheer blinkin' frustration went into Debbi's entry, so I know she was pleased with not only the picture, but the result of the vote too.

I'll give Debbi a prod to see what theme she's going to come up with.

Thanks for the votes and compliments everyone. Do you know just how hard it is to photograph steam???? If not, give it a go - it's certainly a challenge.

I'll think of a theme and post something soon.

Debbi
