Default That annoying advertising banner

Hey, I need some help. How do I turn off that annoying advertising banner? I've had to have my laptop reconfigured recently and didn't get the banner before so I know it's possible to turn it off but this is something that Duncan previously did for me without telling me how. I'm pretty sure it's something in the laptop set-up rather than just specific to WPF. Any ideas?

Debbie - if you are using Firefox try https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir.../adblock-plus/

or for other browsers http://www.floppymoose.com which also has for Mac instructions

Hi Guys,

you need to be careful...AdBlock is great, and does what it says on the tin, but you may be breaking the Terms of Service of the forum. I know that is the case with my forum hosts...the ads PAY for a free form, you see?

So, Adblock use, whilst not traceable particularly, is not "allowed" in many cases.

Hope that helps

That is the dilemma, we want the site but not the adverts!
