Thanks Sharon. Some good shots but I didn't think that many of them realy fitted the competition theme "beauty of natural or human invention"

Lots of shots in the galleries here that are equally good and fit the theme so could be worth a punt for some

this is being judged by 3rd Nov, so although I can't see an end date for submissions, it must be soon; also multiple entries OK, only just under a thousand so far!

That's exactly what I thought! Now, if I can only find one of mine that fits the bill...

We should look in each others gallery and pick one out of each to enter. My favourate of yours Sharon would be your field of textures.

Thank you Sapphire have done as you say part 1
Part 2 out of your gallery
http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...ppuser=57&sl=s
you could wax lyrical about the inventiveness and continuing utility of the canal system and the photo is/does

For Sharon
http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...ppuser=92&sl=s
a beautiful image and as good an example of natural pollination as any

For Gidders
http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...ppuser=72&sl=g
music
or
http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...ppuser=72&sl=g
man (or rather woman) and horse, but you know how to win competitions anyway
