Nikon repair

Default Nikon repair

Hello i have a Nikon D3000 but the glass in the viewfinder is cracked, does anyone know where about's a could get this repaired?

As the camera is less than a year old, is this a warranty issue?

i wish it was but its my fault because i dropped the camera on the kitchen floor

If it is less than 12 months old I'd still consider returning it to Nikon.

Agree with Andy, see what Nikon say about repair, even if it's not covered by warranty.

Assuming you're talking about the focusing screen being cracked, any local camera shop should be able to arrange for a repair at a reasonable price.

Failing that, there are several specialist dealers that can offer repairs. Gray's of Westminster spring to mind for Nikon. Or there's the specialist repair only shops that offer a national mail order service such as Colchester Camera Repairs.

I have never used them but Fixation is very well spoken of.
