Default Kingfisher

No apologies for linking another series of kingfisher photos. I would be over the moon to see one close up and even more delighted to get a decent photo.

Thanks Harry for the Link.
Amazing.
Unfortunately we don't have any kingfisher her in northern america (May be Kings don't like nonKingdom lands!) but remember them from childhood specially that our neighbor had a pond full of red gold fish that had a small, beautiful but sharp visitor. They are really amazing with that little tail, long and powerful bill and calming cool blue and complimentary but opposing orange feathers.
One thing I can never forget is my last visit to London. Right at the entry hall of Heathrow Airport, where you need to wait to get pass the custom, the most beautiful kingfisher images I have ever seen in life, were on the wall and the series were all taken as kingfisher were either partly merged or submerged in the clear water with magnificent detail and underwater camera. Not sure who the photographer was, but never seen before or after, anything like that.
