Default Nikon Announce Capture NX

Nikon after partnering with Nix software (announced last week or so) have unveiled Capture NX. Capture NX appears to read most camera's files and seems to do more than previous versions of Capture. Available May 2006

A much better link, graphically informative rather than a dry specification.

Minimum specification looks interesting, breath held until May!

It looks good, and IMO indicates that Nikon are getting their act together. But I do hope that users of NC 4 will not have to fork out the full whack for NC NX.

The is no upgrade version of NX at discount price but registered Nikon Capture 4 users are entitled to £35 cashback.

If the full price is £120 as expected then an 'upgrade' is £85 with a bit of missing around.

I think you've made a typo. The link you give says that the cashback is £50 for UK residents. So that means that NX is £70 after the cashback. I am sure that some shops will sell NX cheaper. I have seen NC4 going for £90 at legit shops. So for say £30 to upgrade, well it might be worth it. Sadly there is a deadline which seems a bit mean. I wonder what the terms on future upgrades will be?
