Default Ebay scam

About a year ago I was looking at cameras on ebay. One of the cameras I watched eventually sold for twice its true value. £600 against £300. The guy selling it was new to ebay so I sent him a message telling him to be careful. He was eventually asked to send it to Lagos and to send confirmation of shipping when he would get paid. ebay saw the scam and the accounts were closed. I think some people would think this was a great piece of luck and carry on with the transaction.
