Default Fuji S9500

Is there an add-on adapter/lense available for the s9500 to increase the long end zoom. It has fixed fujinon zoom lens 10.7 optical f=6.2-66.7mm 1:2.8-4.9 58mm thread . have tried merkury optics high definition 2*telephoto lens but this just blurs the edges.Thanks.

Hi and welcome to WPF, bikerqueen.
I think the Fuji TL-FX9B is the 1.5x teleconverter for this camera but to make sure, you should look in the camera manual. Vignetting will occur on all teleconverters for this camera when you are at wider angles, but it should be o.k. as you zoom in.
Regards,
Andy

Hi Derek,
My apologies, having had a scout around on the web, it does appear that there is no official Fuji teleconverter for this camera... this would be a little strange, as they do them for almost every other Fuji camera. All i can find are some unpleasant looking ones, of dubious optical quality, on ebay.

Maybe someone else can make a suggestion.

regards,
Andy

Would the Olympus tcon fit? I know they fit other than Oly cameras - and the optical quality is very good.
