I have entered the fortnightly competition for the 1st time but cannot find a thread to chat about our entries. Is there one and if so, can I be pointed in the right direction?

Good to see you entering our "for fun" fortnightly competition, which I also see you have posted in the gallery

In the instructions at the top of the thread you'll see

The reason for this is to stop discussion of the entries which might influence voters (eg what a great shot - this must surely win, or this doesn't fit the theme etc) before the vote has taken place. Therefore in answer to your question - there isn't one, although by all means post in the competition thread after the poll has closed. Also you should delete your entry from your gallery until after the voting.

Thanks Gidders but cant work out how to delete from Gallery!!!! Im gonna be booted out the comp before I hsave a chance..grrrrr

Don't worry we won't be booting you out! The fortnightly challenges are there for fun and while we all like to win they are not taken so seriously that anyone will have an issue with what you did. I have a habit of taking a photo for the comp and then forgetting to post it up my entry for this one is still on my camera, must get it onto the PC soon.

I had been looking for a chat thread associated with the fortnightly comp, as I like to discuss my entry/other's entries and the subject in general. Then again, this is a different forum and I will get used to how you work. So glad I joined as you all seem nice and friendly.
