http://tinyurl.com/6kzxlgr with this lens http://www.warehouseexpress.com/buy-...ii-lens/p12850 I hardly know nothing about photography, my cousings got the same canon but the 15mp camera, im stepping it up to the 18mp. Im looking to do sunday league football the odd time for a hobby, would this be suitable for that kind of photography? |

looking around the lens might not be the best choice, it certainly doesn't get great reviews - http://www.fredmiranda.com/reviews/s...&cat=27&page=2 another option would be the Canon 55-250 IS, it's cheaper and gets much better reviews.

Canon 550D
If you are thinking of buying the lens from Warehouse Express, why not buy the camera from them? Body only is £517.00.
Have a look at Camera Price Buster and select the camera/lens you want-it tells you who has the best deal. Dave |

I'd agree with postcardcv regarding the lens - the 55-250 IS would be a great choice. The 75-300 would be tricky to use without a tripod or monopod at the 300mm end of the zoom (without Image Stabilisation) and the 55-250 is only £5 more expensive. IS is invaluable (if not required) in any long-ish lens when not using a tripod.
