Default Good or bad idea - or does it exist already

I am relatively new to World Photography Forum (just over a year) and fairly new to serious photography (although have been dabbling for 30+ years). I love this site and find it very useful. I have been getting my kit together, my PC, my software and taking photographs seriously for the past year. But realised that my main focus was not the taking of photographs but the rest. So that has changed.

So what am I on about. What I would like is a single forum location where you could put up a photograph - preferable the original (raw, jpg - whatever). You would say what you were trying to do but the photo would not be what you wanted to achieve. The forum would have two basic ideas. the first would be to say where you could have improved the photo in the taking of it - composition, lighting etc. The second idea would be for other members to take the photo and to process it, say exactly what they did and return the photo.

General discussion etc would be allowed but we would have raw material to play with for the discussions.

I know there will be at least 2 problems. the first is copyright. So the rules would have to be laid out. I'll leave that to more senior members. The second would be bandwidth and storage. I think a way around that would be to put up our normal size images and a link to the original if it was too big so the storage would not be a problem.

Let me know what you think or does this exist already.

I think the nicest way to learn is from other peoples experiences and actually seeing other peoples techniques and though processes would be very interesting.

Michael

I reckon it's pretty well done already in the critique forum except for the making of the original file available.
