Alex, surfg1mp is trying to take his portfolio around professionally and in that case presentation is very important. The best place to display a photograph may well be on a wall but walls are a little awkward to carry around.

Unfortunatly Alex, most potential punters don't see it that way. Based on my own experience of watching customers chose which work they like, they really don't look at the picture, they look at the whole package, and a good salesman can sell a very poor quality sausage if it has an appealing sizzle. If it's an experienced photographer looking at the work then it's a different story, but most punters don't analyse the picture that way and often choose what I would regard as inferior pictures out of the choices they are given.

Photo on the wall is good for some work, but not others. Depends on the subject, and needs of the customer.
