Perhaps but one doesn't 'need' PS to do it. From what I saw of the time limited version of Paint Shop Pro that seems capable, and as I said some time ago I've yet to encounter a photoshop tutorial that couldn't be replicated in PhotoImpact.

For most people: levels, gamma, contrast, sharpening, and saturation are all that is needed. If you can do it selectively so much the better, and the software mentioned above does that. If you want to add whizzy effects they'll do that too, and all for £50.
