I once dropped a coffee on a stone floor in a work restroom when i was younger. I instantly became very unpopular as the coffee shot from floor to ceiling. I have no idea where the energy comes from to propel liquid in this manner maybe resonance or something but the energy from a pellet could not send a body of liquid high in the air.
Anyway when I left that company seven years ago my coffee stain was still on the ceiling!
