With news of Jessops CEO Chris Langley leaving in the near future, the share price actually went up...very slightly? (related??...I'll pass on that one). Which is good news for the company.
Also a recent trading report http://production.investis.com/jesso...a5846E&t=popup A golden hand shake followed his work in Japan doing the deal with suppliers. There's been some unjustified slating of C.L lately. In fairness he's done a few good things at Jessops (atleast when I was there), and he did inherit more issues than many realise. Will be interesting to see if Jessops can make best use of the 10% trade supply discount...or whether HSBC just swallow up that one? Interesting times for the company. The end of October will be the first indications as to whether the clearance plan has been enough. we shall see |
