Lello,
I will see if I can find any useful links to portrait photography using brollys. I have looked at those in your link and certainly cheap as chips. For portrait silver might be a bit harsh. The white one would be ok but you need to think of how the catch lights would look if you use fire through rather than bounce. Notice how the wire arms show through in my pics, and these would appear in the catch light although I guess you could sort that in pp. Don |

A tempting upgrade Camera has finally got the better of you then?! Funny you should post this as I actually did a 1 day studio photography course yesterday which was really good fun, I am now going to be using friends as photography 'muses'. I'm off to New York in a few weeks and might make use of the strong £ by adding a SB800 to my kit. I will fianlly get round to posting some photo's at some point on here too! Good luck on the portrait session, i'd be interested to hear what your final set up will be . Zoe |
