This shot was taken over Queenborough harbor on the Isle of Sheppey Kent UK, and edited using levels, and shadows and highlights in CS3 what do you think, the 2nd photo is the original JPG.

I like the editing, Hugh, especially taking out the clutter at the bottom. I like messing around with sunset/sunrise colours as it's possible to get some quite attractive abstracts.

Nice photos, Hugh. It's a pity that the reflections have been cut off. When photographing birds, I find it best to set the camera's focus point to the top of the viewer. That way you can focus on the eye and still keep any reflections.
