I've always found that a weak solution of cillit bang on a cotton bud does the trick.

Very,droll.Leif.Good one. No ,I may be a little batty ,but not quite as daft as that.Seriously ,though ,these Intemos swabs do work.also it works out much less in price than sending ones cam off to be cleaned.

Christine: Yes I guessed you did not use wax laden swabs to clean your sensor. But I have a small and literal mind.

I'm looking forward to the day when Nikon have a dust removal mechanism for their sensors. Though the fact that some people are willing to send the camera to Nikon UK for cleaning does suggest that it might be a lucrative money earner for Nikon. Cleaning a camera every month is a bit off.
