Clive;
All I can say, this may actually becomes the only way you do black and white conversion in future. So make sure to go through the about 5 minutes of tutorial. Stu has recently turned his tutorials into payperview through paypal for 1 pound per episode but this one is still free. It is in HD so download may take a few minutes. Be patient and hope the link works.

I was always thinking to find equivalent of Red or Yellow or Green filter we used to used on olden B&W film days by for example pre coloring a color image into red and then desaturation, but this is the best of best as it can get. I owe a lot to this genus Stu and surely recommend him to anyone who is interested in post processing and photoshop. Of course not to you Clive. As is I have difficulty winning the competitions on his site as is, and surely don't want to see you there as a new compatitor...

Just kidding. When there, just check the weekly, monthly and open challenge that are very nicely organized competitions. Lesley failed to come there when I called for her but love to see you guys there especially you that I am sure will find his competitions both meaningful and also interesting. Anyhow enjoy the tutorial.
