SD card jiggered?
I've just tried to upload some pictures from this afternoon but can't seem to upload them...
My scanner and camera wizard came up with the following notification.. The wizard did not successfully complete copying your pictures because an error occured.. Clicked error information The following problem occured while copying your pictures. The system cannot find path specified... This is the first time this has happened and not exactly sure if it's a computer, SD card or camera fault? Any help would be greatfully appreciated Matt

I think the first question to be asked is, can you view the photos on the cameras LCD?.
Personally I would never use the scanner/camera wizard, or indeed connect my camera to a computer. I would always use a card reader, you can pick up new readers for less than £4. Harry

i go with a card reader and the program that came with my dslr.
also found 8gb SDHC seemed a problem with tranfering. unless you have a new pc with high speed USB2.0 that could have something to do with it.. but im not really 'down with that'

Harry, I can still read the pictures on the cameras LCD screen, just can't seem to download them to my folders as I usually do...though I did eventually manage to download them via my Picasa2 program I installed last year.. Still unsure as to why my scanner and camera wizard won't work...at least I know I haven't knackered my mothers camera and SD card  Matt

Hi Matt, Did your SD card come with any recovery software? I'm afraid I use CF cards but SanDisk provide a recovery program for these sort of things. I echo the advice to use a card reader - also I would scrap that particular card after such an event - erring on the side of caution.
