Polo if you do not use "RAW format" for images. Then I strongly recommend you to use "Irfan View" software. It is fast and easy to use and the best part it is free .you can downoad it from Cnet.com or easy way- google to Irfan View
"PS" has a steep learning curve.Initially it may bore you but hold your breath ,once you know it.You may go overborad(It has happened to me). Then you have to learn how to control your creative urge.
I mainly use Jpeg format for my images, and resize it in either Irfan View or "Photo Filter". Both has worked well .

Red face help thanks from me too

Hi Sassan!

Not been around here for quite some time; but lurking on this thread, I came across your link about re-sizing. It is amazing how helpful you can be without knowing it. That link really helped me too and I thank you for it.

This is perhaps not the ideal place to ask; but can you point me in the right direction for another query?

As well as the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2, which I am still learning how to use, I have invested in a camcorder. Although it has a still facility, is there any way in which I can freeze frame on the PC and take a frame for use as a still picture?

Sorry to be a bore.

Scorp.

Hi
I dont know if this has been covered but if you want to produce thumbnails for posting on sites like this then one called 'Easy Thumbnails' is very simple to use - is free - and I use it all the time and have never had problems with quality
cheers
Nigel

Default nero 7

Thanks walwyn. I do have nero of some sort, so I'll go along and have a look.
