We don't have black friday on this side of the pond, or thanksgiving, or the same bargains in computer monitors, or cameras, or............ |

There are photographers who know what they want, yes I am talking about Canon users. The sad reality is the presence of others!

D. it gets little difficult for me to get it when the game is to loose the good deal, but thanks I am getting it little by little. BTW you have the good pictures right there. Isn't it that the end result that counts?
"It's about the picture, not the photographer". You have the after Christmas day? The day that you can return anything not needed at home during past few years, refereeing to it as not wanted gift? Followed by big sale on returned items? No no answer please... I'll try to get it by myself. Carman, certain words of that phrase changes with time, especially when the sun gets really hot...

As others indicate, I'd wait till after Christmas, when the sales start.
You might want to consider an old CRT monitor. I was going to buy a top end LCD, but the market is changing so fast and it didn't seem worth spending a lot. So I bought a used 19" Iiyama CRT for £60. It works extremely well for photography. The only real downside is the size and weight. I originally wanted a 21" monitor, but I could not lift one without the risk of serious injury. If you do decide for a used one, I would recommnd not buying unless you can see it first. |
