Default POTW 10 Apr 16

Wow - what a lot of images to choose from this week and some great quality so I ended up with a shortlist of 9 :-

White Tailed Plover by Sheri because it made me stop and look twice.
Just Eat by Gidders - a quality candid with an interesting social statement.
River by Dorosker - good choice of shutter speed and the green leaves adding interest to the brown colour palette.
Waiting by Tugboat - because it grabs the attention in an instant.
Nature's Reflection by Mo - for having the courage to take a different perspective.
Border Collie Tan by Robski - for superb detail in a lovely portrait.
Wastwater by Graham - A glorious landscape and a great way to christen a new lens.

But my choice for POTW this week goes to "Week 13...Highkey" by Sassan. It won't be everyones taste and it hasn't had so many views but I love it. The challenge to do something different has produced an image with so much to commend it. Its a great minimalist portrayal of action and movement with splashes of colour standing out on the highkey background and the cyclists' shadows providing depth which might otherwise have been missing.

Oh just saw this and thanks a lot all for your very kind comments and Nigel, for you kind choice.

Must admit I really had fun that day, to discover something new to myself, while following a part of the game as is going on here in WPF. In fact I got a lot more images and do see a great potential of turning "High-key" images, into decorative pictures for sportic environment or into commercial side of it.

Again, thanks all.
