any one had a play with this yet.. if so what are your thoughts...

jamie

edit ; here are mine!

im pleased with the way you can save things slightly differently, for other programs / devices.. very usefull for website use aswell..
theres also plenty more tools to work with, although i havnt got the hang of them all yet. and the work area is more movable so you can customise your workspace.. which is a bonus, hopefully i will find more creative things to do with this one.

I need to save more to get first into CS2...

BTW looking at most of your works, revealing a well equipped user of PS-7, have you noticed any decrease in performance (Speed) when using CS3? The common belief is that due to extensive cashing etc, after PS-7, every newer version is slower. Now add that to the incompatibility of window Vista and CS2...

Love to know how you Jamie feel about CS3 as you have had some opportunity of working more with it.

i think there is improvment on cs3 and the way it runs, filters seem to run faster and smoother, but i guess if that could be due to the pc? i use Ps7 on another pc thats a bit older and slower runnning. but there is definatley an improvment from cs2

Good I didn't buy CS2.
Now have to wait for the bug resolution before hunting for CS3 or may be earlier hopefully.
I would stay with a good familiar product before it is sunshine clear that a change is needed or the new one is offered as free trial etc that has intact bridges on the back for a retro move.
