close-up filters or raynox 250?

Default close-up filters or raynox 250?

hi


i have a fz18 and i want to know the best option for macro photo..

kit close-up lens (+1,+2,+4,+10) or a raynox dcr250(+8)?

can i use all the lens together (+17) to obtain major details?

watt is the best solution?

Hi P@t,

I'd prefer the close-up kit to the Raynox option, because it's a far more flexible option.

The more you combine the filters things deteriorate optically.

I use a Raynox DCR-250 with a pana FZ30, I recently got a DCR-150 (but I've not had the opportunity to use it in anger yet). You can see the results of the Raynox in my gallery and there are more on flickr:

The closeup filters seem awfully awkward to me. I suspct that you'd end up sticking one on the camera and leaving the rest at home.
