Welcome Maximize.
You got a very good LINK above that gives you all info you need.

In short 2 main reason for you to get this error while uploading, is the file size of your picture or its pixel size (Possibly both) are too big.

All you want to do is to open the picture in your favorite software, if using PC and have no other picture handling software, consider using Microsoft Paint that you find it in Accessories directory. My favorite software is Photoshop and Picasa (Later can be downloaded free at Google, that I would leave you a link here if only I could understand why my external links are not working here, i.e. waiting for someone to answer my other forum question).
Reduce the picture's pixel number to 800 to 1000.

Next step is very important, you need to decrease the quality of your jpg. to 60-70 percent of original. In Photoshop choose 6 or 7 when you are asked about quality on the last screen of saving. This step really decrease the file size significantly and don't worry, it does not make the picture ugly at all when uploaded on web.

Hope this helped. Waiting to see your nice pictures decorating the gallery here.

Sassan.

Default Up/Downloading?

Just as a point of information, the protocol is to Upload to the site, ie. put your image on the forum. To view an image you would Download it, as you would a file. You would then, Download from your camera, resize, and Upload to the site.
