Hi All,
After the sifting process, I found my top three images for this past week. They are Contortion by Peter W, Challenger II by Nigel G and Windmill front by John&Me. Well done to all, but my top choice goes to Contortion. ![]() Peter W has produced an image of near perfection in technical terms. The white balance and intensity, so difficult to capture on a pure white subject, has allowed every detail to be seen. The pose is unusual when compared with the 'classic' portrayal of a swan. But I found it refreshingly different and just a bit amusing. Thanks to all entrants ...keep them coming. Graham

Well done Peter, I actually preferred the swans head "grooming". Rare to see perfectly white swans in the south as the rivers are muddy compared to the north and most of the lakes are ex-gravel pits. Their necks get stained by the sand as they search deep for pond weed.
