Nero is the best all round burning application, I always use Nero and have very few fails, if any due to the software. At the moment I am using Nero 6.6.0.8 and am very pleased with it. I use it to burn dvd video, music cd's and data cd's of all kinds. When burning DVD's I tend to stick with -R discs as there used to be compatibility issues with +R's

Alan is absolutely right.
Roxio is just good for very basic things and fails after that.
Nero gives you everything you legitimately want.
If you heard about often, or use CloneCD, Blind, Alcohol etc, probably your boat is sailing under a black flag with some white skeleton on it....

As one of those people that used to burn under the Jolly Roger I had the chance to use most burning applications, but I always came back to Nero, I now use Nero 6.6.0.8, this does everything I ask of it. I avoid Nero 7 because it stiill seems very buggy.
